Christianity and peace essay

Total personal debt is almost $ trillion and growing. That number is scary because the majority of that is is mortgage, and I see tons of my friends buying houses right out of college, and when I talk to them about it, they really don't understand exactly what their home loan is comprised of. Everyone is told they need to go to college, which I think is completely false, and as a result, we've racked up $ trillion in student loan debt, which unlike mortgage, there is no asset there to back it, so if massive defaults happen, the banks will need bailed out again, which will send us into a huge spiral.

Satyagraha theory also influenced Martin Luther King Jr. during the campaigns he led during the civil rights movement in the United States. The theory of satyagraha sees means and ends as inseparable. Therefore, it is contradictory to try to use violence to obtain peace. As Gandhi wrote: "They say, 'means are, after all, means'. I would say, 'means are, after all, everything'. As the means so the end..." [8] A contemporary quote sometimes attributed to Gandhi, but also to A. J. Muste , sums it up: 'There is no way to peace; peace is the way.'
